Surprise!!!

Surprise, Surprise!!!
After our recording sessions, here is a compilation of photos taken by the shining stars behind the voices you've heard in the 6 slideshows we have been publishing for the last couple of days. Whenever there was someone else available, photos were taken to make those moments as memorable for me as for my students.
"I'm not afraid / To take a stand / ... We'll walk this road together, through the storm / Whatever weather, cold or warm / Just letting you know you're not alone" sings Eminem in Not Afraid , one of my favourite songs by this versatile artist. In spite of the rocky beginning with the photo uploading, my students were not afraid to do something new and different and embraced the project and the recordings wholeheartedly. They are to be congratulated for their photos, for their recordings and commitment as they wanted nothing less than perfection - it was me who sometimes denied repeating the recordings.
Therefore...Thank you Shining As, Moms and Dads, Professor Donna and all fellow course participants for your encouragement and support in this beginning ;)

    Was good, Despite being nervous but seeing the pictures I see that it was worth it because there is much joy and complicity.

    was really cool to make this work ..... I also really like this song, and Africa had a friend who loved this song. speaking of Africa .. I miss my grandmother and my aunt were very funny

    What a great video! It is " The Making of Shiningasoure". Isn't it fantastic to have your wonderful teacher give you individulal and personal attention so that you can benefit maximum from your time in class? How I wish I could do so for my own students. We have such a large class which makes it impossible. You are so lucky to have a great teacher like Alex. Take advantage from her and keep up the good work.

      I do try to give each of these (s)heroes as much attention as possible, but I reach them differently. Anyway, what matters is their engagement and learning, correct?
