Welcome!

Welcome back to school!
Welcome to a 2015 / 2016 school year! May it be a fruitful and successful one for all of us and our readers, too.
Well, let's start off with good news also to bridge last school year with the beginning of a new one:
João Carecho and Verónica entered our school Honour Board after having achieved excellent results. I am very proud as they certainly are not to mention their families, who were at school yesterday for the ceremony Here are our hero and heroine:

As we are all well aware, this is not going to be an easy or a common school year with three exams ahead of us... yes, ahead of me, too, as I get worried about you, your performances and results. I'm convinced you will be up to the challenge and hopefully 9ºA will surprise all with even better results than in 2014 /2015 and with more students in the school Honour Board.
Have a great school year, y'all!

Let's Celebrate Excellency!

In a previous blogpost, I mentioned João Carecho for his excellent school grades that have granted him a place at the school's honour board. But it's not only João who deserves honours. Indeed, for different - but equally exemplary reasons - Sofia and Vitória are also going to be awarded at the cerimony next Monday for their dedication, commitment and outstanding sports results in climbing tournments.
How proud we all are, João, Sofia and Vitória!!! Let's celebrate excellency together and work harder and harder this school year, agree?
Congratulations to you and your parents. Hope others will follow your great examples :=)

Honour Board for JOÃO CARECHO

It's official!!!
Back in June, class teachers had nominated João Carecho to be included on the Students' Honour Board and the results have just been published by the schoolboard.
It is full of pride that I'm sharing here João's excellent school performance in 2013/2014:

I'm sure you all agree João is not only a top student but also a top blogger and, for all those who have met him, a top boy, too!
Hopefully this celebration and recognition of his accomplishments will inspire more students to improve their school results and achieve their full potential in 2014/2015.
Congratulations to João and his supportive parents, and the best of luck for all.
