Artist Review: Romero Britto

Hey, everyone! I'm going to tell you about my favourite artist, Romero Britto.

Romero was born on October 6th 1963. He is a Brazilian Neo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher and sculptor. In his work, he uses a lot of vibrant colours and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope and happiness. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting.

Here's some of his art:
Here's a well-known painting and my favourite
Britto with Dilma Rousseff, the President of Brazil, who he says has inspired him.

  2. The painting seems very current. Very good, especially the portrait of Dilma, very real and the colors that the painter uses are very cheerful. Good choice.
